In accordance with the bylaws of AAUW-NYS, notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the AAUW-NYS membership will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 9am until noon via Zoom.
Featured will be distinguished guest speaker Dr. Lauren Kozakiewicz.
Dr. Kozakiewicz is a distinguished scholar of American political history and an expert on the remarkable women who helped shape New York’s political landscape after the suffrage victory. Her research on the women who stepped into public life during the 19th and 20th centuries has appeared in numerous scholarly journals, and her groundbreaking book, Ladies Day at the Capitol: New York’s Women Legislators, 1919–1992, is the first to examine New York’s women legislators as a distinct political force.
