WHAT IS AAUW?
The American Association of University Women has been empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1881.
For more than 140 years, we have worked together as a national grassroots organization to improve the lives of millions of women and their families. The Buffalo Branch was founded in 1890, first incorporated in 1932, and recognized as a 501(c)(3) entity in 2003. It has been working tirelessly towards those goals since then.
Mission: Gender Equity and Economic Security.
Vision: Equity for all.
