The Buffalo Branch of AAUW administers scholarships plus interest-free loan and grant funds, providing additional financial support to college students in the Western New York area in the form of specialized loans, grants, or scholarships. These funds are obtained from proceeds from our Annual Book Sale and generous donors. The funds include several named awards. Applicants, women or men, must demonstrate superior academic achievement, have potential for achieving their academic and career goals, and, for some of the awards, show financial need.
Please note: All the applications can be filled in online. However, cellphones and tablets often do not handle them correctly. If the form won’t work as a form, try emailing it to yourself.
- Academic scholarships. The application deadline for the 2023-2024 scholarships is February 16, 2024. The applications are available now! Please note-the applications themselves may be submitted via email with an e-signature, but recommendations and transcripts must still be submitted via US Mail.

- Olga Lindberg Scholarships

- The Jacquie Walker Scholarship
- Chamberlin Loan Fund & Funds for Education – applications always available, awarded twice per year. The application deadlines are May 1 and December 1.
