Book Sale

NOTICE to BOOKSALE LOVERS – Work continues on our 2026 sale! It will be held Wed-Sun, May 27-31, returning to last year’s site at 425 Essjay in Williamsville.

Our collection/sorting hours are (weather permitting) 9-1 every Tuesday and Wednesday plus 10-noon the first Saturday of each month at 37 Anderson Rd in Cheektowaga THROUGH WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18.

Then from Tuesday, April 7 through Saturday, May 9, we will be accepting donations at the sale site (425 Essjay) with expanded hours – Tuesdays 10am-8pm, Wednesdays 10am-5pm, Thursdays and Fridays 1pm-5pm, and Saturdays 10am-noon.

In addition to books, we also accept Blu Ray discs, DVDs, CDs, vinyl LPs, audio books, puzzles, games, any large print materials, plus any book-themed gift items such as clothing, jewelry and pins.

Please NO professional journals, magazines (except WNY Heritage), Reader’s Digest Condensed Books (except large print), Time/Life, computer books, encyclopedias, cassettes or VHS.

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for members and friends to help Sponsor the Book Sale by making a donation to the AAUW Buffalo Branch. Making it relevant to the Book Sale, we have created the following donation categories. Names of sponsors will be recognized by category on a poster at the Book Sale. This will help to defray our costs – utilities, table rentals, moving (books from collection site to the sale site), and some paid assistance.

    If you are interested in being a sponsor, please send a check made out to AAUW Buffalo Book Sale, to PO Box 894, Buffalo, NY 14225. Friends and non-members are also encouraged to help sponsor our sale. What a wonderful gift or memorial idea! Donations are tax deductible.
